What to Expect at MRC Electronics Recycling Events

Our friendly and trained staff will be ready to direct you through the event in an organized manner, and answer any questions you have.

We plan to have all of the man power needed to unload your vehicle of your electronics for proper recycling, so there is usually no need to exit the vehicle. Simply tell our staff what you have to drop off, and where it is located, pop the trunk open if needed, and we will take care of the rest!

Zero Landfill Policy

MRC Recycling is registered with the EPA, and is Level 4 Registered with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. MRC Recycling is R2/RIOS Certified at our Imperial and Park Hills Facilities. MRC Recycling has a Zero Landfill Policy with the exception of wood from Console Televisions and Big Screens. For more information, contact MRC Recycling at 1-855-MRC-RECYCLE.

Today's electronics recycling event is being hosted in collaboration with Jefferson County Stormwater Division and Mastodon State Historic Site.

Date: Wednesday, September 16th, 2026
Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Address: 1800 Seckman Road Imperial MO 63052

Location: Mastodon State Historical Site Playground Parking Lot.

Fees:

CRT TVs 26" and smaller will cost $30.00 each.
CRT TVs 27" and larger will cost $50.00 each.
Console/DLP/Rear Projection TVs will cost $50.00 each.
LED/LCD/Plasma TVs will cost $20.00 each.
CRT monitors will cost $5.00 each.
Any Freon containing device will cost $10.00 each.
Printers/Copiers/MFPs will cost $5.00 each.

Only Cash and Checks will be accepted.

Acceptable Items

MRC professionally recycles almost anything that uses a power cord or battery! Acceptable items include, but are not limited to: Computers, Printers, Keyboards, Laptops, Hard Drives, Monitors*, Cell Phones, Pagers, Radios, Scanners, Speakers, VCRs, DVD Players, Fax Machines, Answering Machines, Televisions*, Stereos, Furnaces, Water Heaters, Air Conditioners*, Microwaves, Power Tools, Kitchen Appliances, Lawn and Garden Equipment**, et cetera.

*Fees may apply for Televisions, and some Computer Monitors. See the event details above for more information.
*Fees may apply for devices containing Freon, such as Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, and Dehumidifiers. See the event details above for more information.
**Lawn & Garden Equipment must have oil & gas removed.

Exceptions: Smoke Detectors, Glass Lamps, Light Bulbs, Fluorescent Tubes, Alkaline Batteries, Magnetic Media, and Optical Discs are not accepted for recycling at events. Click here for more information about recycling these items at our drop-off locations, and the associated fees.
