Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) is committed to demonstrating strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) capabilities. Our environmental efforts focus on responsible recycling, waste reduction, and resource conservation, aligning with global sustainability goals. An integral part of our approach includes addressing Scope 3 emissions and minimizing our overall carbon footprint. By actively engaging with our supply chain partners and implementing strategies to reduce indirect emissions, MRC strives to contribute to broader environmental sustainability objectives. How are we doing our part?

• Opening all facilities for public drop-off.

• Attending Youth Career Days to inform about recycling.

• Upgraded LED lighting at facilities.

• Provided re-use tumblers and added water cooler to reduce the amount of plastic we generate.

• Continually upgrading our trucking fleet to allow for DPR systems in all trucks, reducing the amount of particulate emitted into the atmosphere.
